Our Dog Champion Scheme is transforming homelessness services across the North and North East of England. By partnering with hostels and temporary housing providers, we equip them to welcome pets with open arms, ensuring vulnerable individuals and their animals can stay together and access the support they need.

How the Dog Champion Scheme works:
Training
We provide hostel staff with expert training in dog behaviour, first aid, and animal welfare, fostering confidence and capability in caring for pets.
Owner Support
Behavioural training, support and guidance to create “pet CVs” which help owners secure long-term housing.
Resources and supplies
From policy templates to pet essentials, we ensure hostels have everything needed to create safe, welcoming spaces.
Advice
Our dedicated team will provide ongoing advice and troubleshooting for your whole team.
Health care
Free vaccinations, flea treatments, microchipping, and on-going health support to keep pets healthy.
Community building
Pets become catalysts for connection, reducing isolation and creating a supportive environment where both residents and staff thrive.
